I have never in my life had such a horrible job. I applied to work here with great positivity that I'd be working somewhere involved with the base, giving military families the great benefit of tax free shopping. I was in for such a surprise. From the first day, I knew it was mistake. I was thrown onto the sales floor with no training. I was never taught how to use the cash register, which keys go to what, what time to clock out, I was never given a chance to work with another coworker. When I asked how to use the register, I was snapped at, and at one point was told to count the money in my head to give the customer the correct change. Problems were never addressed, and customers were constantly let down by poor customer service, snappy employees, and excuses. I was called many times to the main office and was forced to watch myself on tape, while being asked " Did you lock that cabinet? It doesn't look like you locked it in the video. We're watching you." Sadly, what an unpleasant place to be and shop. I am committed to never shopping here again. Even after I had decided to leave ( only a month later) I was being harassed about missing items at the counters. The management has no idea what is going on and never addresses situations. THe warehouse is a disaster. Spills are never cleaned up, new items left on the floor, trampled on. You can never find anything you need. All in all, the most horrible work experience of my life.
