This place is horrible!!!! They hire you based on the understanding that you (as a trained, educated, licensed laser technician/nurse) are required to give adequate treatments that follow state and company protocols. In all actuality the technicians are only there to sell, sell, and sell more. I was told by a manager that they rather keep incompetent, lazy technicians that sell (even if they burn or harm a clients repeatedly) rather than keep a hard working technician that follows safty protocols. They treat their employees like children-we have all been called "stupid" on a regular basis during the work day. Our jobs are threatened almost every day. The managers are too interested in making their quotes for the month that they neglect to book enough time for the techs to perform sufficient treatments (that's why almost every client we have still has hair after coming there for three years). The managers are all lazy, talk bad about the clients, break HIPPA laws, and even steal money from the company. The pricing of packages are based on how much your income is, there are no such things as "corporate gift certificates," expect the managers be friendly before you buy and then change immediately after you purchase your package. There is so much drama at this place - it's amazing it is still in business.

Sounds like a good idea when you first start out, but it's not. ALC has a very 'cult' like environment. You can only stand it so long.

The starting pay was ok, but the benefits are useless. The work environment is not good. The clinic is dirty, infested with roaches and a fire hazard. My manager does nothing all day, but texting and talk on the phone. I would not recomend anyone to work here.
