To many whores work at showa who think they can have any man they want whether they have family at home or not. She's 25 years old and messing around spending all her time on lunches and breaks with a man who is 42. Saying only friends please bitch your more than friends and your name is Ashley Stanforth. You know who you are. i've known the guy for awhile and he's a better person than your making him out to look like.

I thought that the downsizing of the company was common knowledge. Yes there is alot of ass kissing going on and some unfairness toward employees whom can do the job and care enough to do it. It is difficult enough to work 7 days a week now, but to have to deal with a few that want to backstab or pry in your biz come on worry about your job when you are on the clock. This is a factory, steady employment, good benefits, an ok work environment.

I've been an associate for 8 plus years now. The vents here towards fellow workers is amazing, yet some are true, we need to focus on the company. Some of you may or may not know that within one year, this company (if still operational) will be downsized to approx. 300 people. This is FACT not rumor yet as i look around many associates still don't do their jobs properly, take long breaks, and have no TEAMWORK spirit so to say. This all stems to leadership, poor leadership. Yet nothing will ever be done because the way they(management) BS the Japanese, cover each others back, or systematically eliminate workers they want, either by firing,relocating,or demoting. Ever notice when your line starts to faulter or get behind, for some reason you'll have new associates to train as if to put all the blame on, this is a typical Showa management move, not to fix the problem but to create one. The NEW showa (implicated sometime last year) was suppose to weed out all the bad, yet managers still have their favorites so this will never happen. So I say to you venters stand up (with legitimate claims because I know there are some) and overwhelm HR. You may think it will not do any good, but it will create an atmosphere that the employees will not stand for the bias BS that goes on, this your company to, NOT just managements.

HR is terrible stood at the cabinets and there they set as if I wasn't even there. I had to listen to one talking personal business on the phone and the other just stared at the computer what the hell another thing that people are pissed about how can the company allow dl to walk around with a can asking for money for stockings when we can't sell candy bars to support our children and if we do that course we would b wrote up whats wrong with you people

After reading previous posts, I found a few initials to be a common factor. If someone is sleeping on the job, take a picture and report it immediately. There are Federal and State Laws to back up your complaints. Educate yourself and follow through.

If the work environment sucks so bad, have you tried going over the local HR's head? Go to www.amshowa.com and click on SOS Web Site. Click on the Ethnics Point Website link and file a complaint. Otherwise, stop your b**tch'n.

Now is the time to take action because if you end up in the unemployment line, none of this will matter.

Someone actually thinks LE does her job LMAO.Just so you know LS worked both sides of casting as a quality tech and was then promoted to a office personal.LE was then promoted from section head to quality tech and could not manage both sides,so LS had to go back to doing the quality tech position.If you have not been in casting very long then STFU.Some of us have been in this department for many years and know what goes on.And no one thinks 2nd or 3rd is a bunch of idiots,we all know they are under trained.And the reason these two shifts are under trained is because RH said that all he wants for running a machine is a living breathing body.He does not care if we have a job he is more worried about himself.He feeds lies to HR the Japanese and by the way it looks even his own wife.But it really does not matter he has fooled the main people to keep his job.And LE does sleep in the office but she does do somethings like RH and any blind man she can find.Hey LE since you like getting drunk so much maybe you,RH and me can all go out together,of course i will have to get totally wasted so i can at least think your vanna white before we go any farther,and RH will need to lay down on the bed with a blanket over his head so it can be like one of those frankenstein flicks.What more could someone want: a$$ and a movie.

To the previous poster:maybe you should go back to school and learn how to spell.If you are so blind to the fact of what goes on in casting maybe you should look for another profession.First shift people have no other benefits than second and third other than the hours.As far as you taking up for someone that you do not have to deal with for eight hours is understandable.However you do not know what goes on for the eight hours that some people have to deal with, so there for you only have assumptions.And as far as TV is concerned,he is the only manager that is looking for ways to improve casting.He has brought in better die lube,shot tip lubrication,better cooling for the dies,ect. What has RH ever done to improve casting? And as far as GDC doing better than high pressure,your right they do better,but only because LE does not do her job and therefore most parts go unnoticed.Just so you know there is a lot more to HPDC than there is with GDC,so learn a little bit about the difference of process.If LE wants a day off or to leave 4 hours early all she does is undo a couple of buttons on her uniform to show some cleavage and the next thing you know she's on her way home.Judging by how defensive your post was I can only assume that you were wiping you mouth off after every word. :)--c==@

Hey in regards to the posts here recently I have only been in Casting a short tine and I was given a level for Qualiy by RH and I was furiious about it but it was my own fault so changed what I was doing to hopefully be able to continue to work there. You know maybe the problenm isn't the managers but the Associates that have worked in the Casting area and refuse to change----I an't nobody but it seems to me that if parts are being passed by Associates then the problem is that we need to pay better attention maybe we need to see some changes to the following

If LE is so bad how come GDC does better than we do
LS should maybe take care of her own job and not dump so much on LE anmd then act like she is better than her
maybe Die Maint should quit taking 15-20 min breaks and 45 min lunched(by the way TV knows anout it and does nothingn)
Maybe the NEW MGR should quit amking so many changes wiithoit documinting it and actinglike 1st shift is everything and the off shifts are stupid,when a mistake happens on first it is just oh well these things happen but when my SH or 3rd makes a mistake its because we are idioots
maybe the NEW MGR needs to come in on time aquit showing favoritism to his smoke buddies----everyine talks about how he vilates policy and no one will do anything about it----I go on alevel for missing and he gets away with it, Not Fair
Maybe we shouldn't penalize the mgr who trys to hold us accountable and wants us to have us in a job 2 yrs from now and deal with the new who has caused the problems to Skuyroket
Mu Sectionn Head has only beenin position for a short time but he sems to care more about wha is going on then any He takes care of his Associates and admits when he's wrong Maybe Showa can take a few lessons from his way of handling his shift if the other Section Heads would take notice things might change
Maybe we need to look alittle more at the floor where the real problem is ans not criticize the office people so much it si a whole lot easier to push blame then take responsibility
