Bayshore Solutions is ran by men that do not know one thing about online marketing (i.e. SEO for Dummies Handbook circa 2003 on their desks), they scam clients out of all of their money on web development projects, they have a huge turn around of employees as they treat their employees with no respect. Its a horrible horrible place to work - it sucks the life out of you. And they scam their clients. Run, don't walk, fast, if you are going to work or work with this company. They will get you blacklisted on Google, they will bleed you of money while promising it takes time, they will nickle and dime you for any changes to your website. How do I know, I worked as an account manager there and it was my job to do all of that - it made me feel horrible. Thank goodness I got out. I don't even put them on my resume as they have such a bad name in the biz not to mention throughout all of Tampa Bay. I was told to take it off from a company I interviewed because it was such a bad place.

This company clearly is miss-managed by an individual who has no real pedigree outside of getting "the sale." Nothing more than a used car salesperson. This statement truly personifies the leader of this company. Does not care about anything else; only how much money he can pillage from others, particularly his own employees and clients. There is no fair deal one could expect to receive from this person whether it is in the capacity as either an employee or as a client. Doing the "right thing" can only be stated by this individual when there actually is no sacrifice to be made on his behalf. Do not take my word for it, challenges this person beyond the buzzwords. Talk to his employees outside of the organization. I generally would never post such a negative thing, except to do so when out of fairness to others who may inadvertently fall prey to such a pervasive individual. "The right thing to do" requires as such.

After reading through these horror stories, I'm so glad I left Bayshore a year ago. Obviously, nothing has changed. How can a company treat employees and clients so poorly and stay in business? This company is so poorly run, and morale is so unbelievably low. What's funny is that the "VP's" pretend they like it there. Yeah, that's right, we know you're pretending. We know you can't stand coming into the office every day. We've heard you say it. Geez, what people will endure in a rough economy, just to have a job.

Prospective employees and clients, do your due diligence before contacting Bayshore. Trust me (and everyone who has posted here).

First to define the rate scale;
1) Pay: They pay way below industry average, reason being they will loose client engagements quickly which can not guarantee your job security. They pay low to just keep the company running.
2) Respect: Total lack of respect, if you come from world class organizations and want to introduce or ask if they have any best practices, you are treated like you are the one that doesn't know what their talking about.
3) Benefits: The benefit pack just horrible, just show's an employee how much Bayshore invests in their talent which is their people. Without them they are just another SEO pushing, CMS web building show with no creativity.
4) Job Security: See all above and below...
5) Work/Life Balance: Horrible when you know the company you work for is about to go under and loose yet another client.
6) Career Potential/Growth: There is no growth here, the VP have no big league interactive experience and are just yes men to the COO & CEO. They are project managers with VP title's to display power over their small teams.
7) Location: They think they have a state of the art facility, especially the CTO's 4 monitors. "When we bring clients in they are just amazed by the view". Of what, the other building! The building is warn out and office hardware is warn out too, and they have no money to update, because they can't get a substantial client. Back to # 5 - SEO pushing, CMS web developers w/ no creativity!
8) Co-worker Competence: there is about 3-4 people who know what they are talking about and in speaking with them they are getting ready to leave but with this economy and being located in Tampa Bay they are stuck and just collect the check. The rest a sub-par with individuals within the industry and the reason they can gain large client's is that the client know one heck of a lot more than them about interactive.
9) SEE ALL THE ABOVE.....

Don't work for this company unless you are desperate to collect a pay check while you are looking for a great company to work for.

Working at Bayshore Solutions I have never seen so many people leave a company before. We loose an employee about one a month, and our clients are really just one time clients. They usually find us on the web and we primarily do SEO or web development. After working with us, they usually leave like the employee's. Bayshore Solutions has had many client's but all but a handful stay with us, usually for simple executions with very little ongoing work flow.

I have reviewed all the post and 99% are true, there is no doubt about that. This is not a company you would enjoy working for, or with for that matter.

I hated working here, almost from day one. Everything written in these posts is dead on. While there are "some" good people at Bayshore, anyone with any sense would quit after 2 or 3 interactions with management. And for the person that thinks this is the best job they've ever had - I feel very, very sorry for you. One day (soon) you'll wake up.

Bayshore Solutions has a lot of great people working for them. The company itself has integrity and from my experience is very respectful. The group of people that do work here are fun to be with and put pride in the work that they do.

Some comments below may be justified, however -- I have had many jobs and I can say that this has been my favorite so far. This is a very dynamic and exciting environment. People have come and gone, and that is to be expected in such a fast moving industry. I love the people at Bayshore, they are smart and fun, have integrity and pride in their work, and do a great job for our customers.

Bayshore...where do I begin. Everything that has already been posted is definitely accurate. Bayshore treats their employees like crap, unless you fit into their little bubble and polietly nod and agree with everything the management says. They constantly demean women and disrespect non-American nationalities infront of people. The worst part is they don't even know what they are doing is wrong. And one of the owners actually said in a company meeting "rake them over the coals" when referring to a client. They constantly lie to their employees and clients, its's no wonder why they can't retain them. And they actually think an Ice Cream break on a Friday afternoon is going to boost company morale. Respect and positive reinforcement would go a lot farther. Nothing could help the morale there because it is so bad, almost everyone wants to quit and will when they can. They constantly say things are changing and ask for employee input, but nothing ever changes, it's a constant cycle. If you are considering working for Bayshore and they tell you that they have a quarterly bonus plan, just know that the bonus has only been paid out 1 time in the last 2 1/2 years. I would never work for or do business with Bayshore Solutions ever.
