Well I have to say more layoffs.. wow surprise!! The place went down hill with Claude, they trusted him and where exactly is he? Out of there with his hands covering his hiney.I worked for L&L over 15yrs ago and the difference is sad to see. We used to bust butt and had fun doing it, but that went in the wind once the man got there and put his family and friends in. I guess the tax break for hiring a token was so great it was worth the fact that he didn't know what he was doing. Or that he drove it in the ground. I must say I loved work made lots of good friends was treated with respect my opinions did count and if someone was nasty and rude it WAS taken care of FAST.
Now before you call me prejudiced please keep in mind I was there when his fat s-i-l worked there and stole the company blind(biggest purse I ever did see!!) But they still kept him..It was a great place and I wish JL could get it back but I do think he stepped back in way too late. When the motto a great place to all who touch it, it was true. My family and friends that are or were still there in the last couple of years, have been sad about it all. I was there the first time that Shaffer called a production worker names. He received a slap on the wrist and it went down from there. When I was first there, there wouldn't have been a second chance. Production was treated like the hub of the company and as Larry Schmidt told a superviser once "you will treat these ladies like you were speaking to MY wife, you will respect them"
This all quit when Claude came around I am sorry that you all never knew this place. I am sorry for all the people that are suffering as a result, and I hope you all get things worked out for yourselves
