While the pay is sufficient, along with the benefits (which is enough in itself for those who are willing to sell-out), the lack of respect, lack of organization, and consistent, impulsive re-structuring creates an uncomfortable, insecure environment, where you are constantly wondering if your intelligence and integrity will be insulted for the umpteen millionth time in one day, or if you will even be there the next day. Oh, and it is waaaay sexist. (Also hypocritical and uptight.)

like others here I wanted to give higher scores for some things but it raise the overall score too much. you. do. not. want. to. work. here. Here is a story, just one, without any exaggeration and as honestly as I can tell it.

Last year the video production team wanted to enter some videos in the Emmy awards competition. This costs money and requires filling out forms and sending in physical copies of the entry. DJ would pay for the entry fee of course. They asked President Viv Beason if they should enter and, when he said yes, he signed the check to pay for the entrance fees. Did I mention that Pres. Viv Beason is CEO Dave Hebel's best friend and they talk daily? That little detail will become important in a moment. Did I also mention Dave Hebel doesn't communicate with anyone and doesn't respond to emails and that he lives in India? If I didn't you can just read the other reviews here.

So the team not only enters, with company approval and company money, but the entries are then judge worth and nominated for Emmys a little while later. Yay! Then they win! Everyone is happy.

Dave Hebel is not happy. In fact he throws a temper tantrum and writes a long email berating the team and whining that everyone is just a bunch of ungrateful employees who do not appreciate him. He stays mad for days. Not kidding. Says he's not coming to the Christmas party because now he knows everyone hates him. Come again?

The problem is no one told him they were entering the Emmys. The guy who never communicates with anyone is angry no one communicated with him. And he's angry at the producers he never communicates with and not his best pal in the entire world who he communicates with everyday and who approved the entry and signed the check and knew about the nomination when it occurred. Slipped his mind I guess. Still who to blame? Let's blame the producers! Yay!

Like I said, this is all fact, not exaggeration. The actual email Dave sent is priceless and way more fun. The three day temper tantrum was hysterical.

The worst place i have ever went through my career. i have read all the comments above and came to know all is true through my very bitter experience. The management believes the staffs are their slaves. The CEO thinks he is a God.The rest of the idiotic management thinks they are his disciples.
The CEO and the management has no relation with the staff.
This is the worst company run by an American.

Gosh I'd like to give the company higher stats on pay/bennies and balance since I went home at 5 every day and the location is just fine but holy crap the abusive environment is not worth it. Seriously, if you are interviewing for the US office ask Viv Beason one simple question: What is the turnover rate for creative professionals? And by that I mean producers, directors, editors, etc. Whatever you are applying for. I can think of TWO (yes 2) people that have been there for more than 2 years. If you think you have what it takes to outlast the other dozen who have been hired and fired in the last 2 years, then go for it: Yes, a dozen, not some weird disgruntled employee rant, a dozen, and I can name them by name in alphabetical order: Brent, Chris, Chuck, Eric, Josh, Matt, Michael, Mike, Perry, Rusty, Sam and Sean.

Like others here i would like to give higher scores for some things like pay, benefits and coworkers but the security and environment badness cant be rated on a scale that ony goes to -5.

I swear you will think it will be different for you. and for a month or so you will believe it. but then it will happen. you will get yelled at for failing to read the bosses mind. there is really only viv beason and dave hebel to blame. if they could hire someone to run the company for them it would be great. o wait. they do hire people to run the company. and then fire them or they leave for lower paying jobs. sigh.

Wooo! Hey all you fellow haters! Here's my take. Love the company, hate Viv and Dave. I know it is popular to hate your boss and I know it is hard maybe impossible to imagine the difficult decisions bosses make, but first the boss has no communication with the employees (literally none) which creates a lot of anxiety and second yes the boss is prone to tantrums.

Funny true story I'm sure you will all nod your heads in agreement with. What were your thoughts whenever a company wide meeting was called? 1 Uh oh, we're out of business. 2 Uh oh, I'm going to be fired. 3 Uh oh, half of everyone here is going to be fired. 4 Uh oh here comes a pep talk. And what was the company's favorite pep talk? "Everything is fine. All of your jobs are safe. We're all going to have to work a little harder the next few months but it will all be better after that." Ha.

Promise of better pay as things improve is a lie, so consider starting pay ending pay, but that is not the biggest problem here which is the total lack of leadership and the yelling you get when not following the lack of leadership. Mostly the best way to get ahead is to suck up completely because paranoid bosses value only one characteristic which is how they perceive your loyalty. That's right. Not whether you are loyal or not, whether they think you are loyal. Now that I think about it, maybe their paranoia is justified since they are surrounded by yessman sycophants. Or maybe they are just delusional and think that all of the negative reviews here are from just a few disgruntled ex-employees?

seems like everyone summed it up - this is a good company with great products and so much potential, but the two bosses are unstable and insane. if you can tolerate the instability, this is actually a great job 99% of the time. I couldn't tolerate it and left eventually for lower pay
