mighty taco was my first job and it was terrible.

pay was the only good thing about the job but still not worth it.

zero respect from managers. manager lost my request for time off and scheduled me to work while i was on vacation. i had to use all of my six allowed sick days to make up for her mistake.

no benefits, but it was part time and i wasnt interested in any.

i never worried about losing my job since they were always hiring for new people because everyone quit!

i pretty much had no life/work balance since i was working 8 hour shifts like 4 days a week. for my first job i did not expect working 8 hour shifts until midnight all the time!

work environment was sisgusting. because i was new, i was stuck doing dished all day! i would leave the place soaked and covered in grease/nacho cheese.

hated the job and would dread going. quit after a month.

Out of all the jobs I have had, this has to be the worse.

First of all, they lost my application. After I got hired, I showed up for my very first day of work. Guess what? They did not even know that I was scheduled to work that day. They had nothing for me to do, so they sent me home after two hours of doing nothing. (Which by the way, is illegal. You have to have your employee work at least three hours, unless they ask to leave themselves.) Anyway, the second day went okay.. It was on a Wednesday. They told me that since the schedule was full that week, they could not give me any days. They told me to call on Friday, to find out my schedule for the following week. Friday comes along, and I call up the company. Surprise! They did not have me added onto the schedule because they forgot I was even employed there.

So, the manager said she would call the other manager and sort it out. I waited around till monday. I got a phone call at like..ten at night. I did not answer it because I was in the shower, and they did not even leave a voice mail.

Most ridiculous, unprofessional, unorganized company I have ever worked for.

A few more things about this company for anyone considering employment:

- They make you take a menu test. You have to know everything on the menu, and exactly how many ounces go on. You HAVE to get a 100 percent on this test (That has probably over 100 things you have to know). They give you a few days to know it all.

- They will BITE YOUR HEAD OFF if you put on just a speckle extra of beef.

- The cheese has to be put on horizontally, or they will flip.

- Never get a cup of nacho cheese before making a taco, they will flip out and throw out the whole order

Yeah..not worth the 8 dollars they are hiring at. Pay is good, That is about it.
