Current employee about to turn in resignation. While the Company like any has it's own set of strengths and weaknesses, it's not a good place to work .

Former employee here from Indiana and I really miss TechSkills after what I have been through since. As well as the horror stories I hear from others at other places. Most the time I see people on here who are just disgruntle and saying what they like without any thought of the damage it may cause to good people that still work there who do a good job.

The majority of individuals who work for Techskills are very unhappy. You can't tell me you feel good about what you do on a day to day basis when you can't upgrade your equipment to this century, hire good instructors, or get your students books on time. You have current employees, mainly sons of the CEO, 3 of them, posting on this site positive reviews. Techskills is about to loose accreditation as they are on a "show cause" with ACCET and will soon have multiple suits against them.

I love my job at techskills, This is a 100% legit, non fake profile. Usually when people are let go from TechSkills it because of performance/competency issues, or dishonesty.

Looks like the corporate guys have found this website what a mess they have made. Now they are creating fake profiles of former employees loving it there!!!! hahah...Don't waist your time with these people. They are about to shut their doors soon and lose their accredidation status. Failed business.

I really like working there. My partner got another job that paid quite a bit more so we moved. I wish there was a TechSkills In Montana so i could get my job back. I'm at a much larger school now dealing with all the politcal mess.

Wonderfull coworkers that really cared about the students that attended at our campus. It was really fun watching all of those people change their lives for the better. Go TechSkills!

I had a very positive experience with this company. I worked for a southwest office as an educator. My pay demand was slightly higher than can be afforded in education sector, so I moved on. I think my campus was representative of the whole. We went the extra mile for students. I was very proud of the work we did. I know I worked harder than typical teachers in the industry when it came to my flock. I did over my years work with people who didn’t care much and were in it for the pay check. Funny thing is you will quite receiving pay checks if your attitude is in the wrong place.

I read “slacker” in most of the previous posts. One poster is upset about losing his/her employment for running a non profitable business unit, wow! Accountability is everything in this world. People rarely quit jobs at TechSkills., its safe to assume the slackers were fired or quit as writing was all over the wall.

If you are a hard worker and take pride in your work. This company will be a great fit for you. The day to day rewards of student success are like an addiction. If you are a slacker with no drive then you should not apply for you negativity will bleed over to the students and you will be let go only to rant on this board.

I worked the about 4 yrs ago. I liked the company. We really did help the student. I went out of my way to help the student every step of the way. Most of the instructors, student directors and sales staff helped the students from strart to finish.. Most of the students got jobs right out of school, when they got certified. For the most part if you didnt help the students you didnt work there long. Maybe our location in cincy was diferent then some other locations but I really enjoyed my time there.

Thanks,

Chris
