Culture is like a stagnate pond. The management is just a mafia group that collaborates together and is only interested in maintaining their own power structure. Benefits are borderline if you’re allowed to use them. You're given 3 weeks vacation, although when you want to use it, you are told more times than none by your manager that work priorities are too great at this time. Health insurance premiums are steep compared to competitor companies. Job security depends on the incompetence of the management at the sampled time. Work/Life Balance is non-existent because managers are continuously harassing you to make themselves appear better. Career growth is non-existent. Co-workers are generally unqualified, many of them don't even have bachelor's degrees, and they are working in senior-level and management positions. Don't be surprised if someone who's higher than you on the food chain only has a high school diploma.
The location is extremely disturbing. It's located in a secluded area of town, fenced off and hidden from public view, with security guards and cameras monitoring and recording everybody accessing the property 24/7. It is literally like a prison, no joke! The work environment matches the prison-like nature of the location. In many ways it’s similar to the Survivor show on tv. It’s a ruthless environment. Just go to work, avoid speaking to anyone and try to keep a low profile for fear that you’ll be the next employee voted out of the group. Regardless of how well everyone works and does a good job, Boston Scientific is required to accuse some percent of their population of doing a poor job via their annual review system. Overall, unless you are a manager or above, it's a lose-lose situation. Don't even think about working at this cesspool.
