I was hired to work full time in the IT department under E Mills. This guy has no IT background. He has a EE degree with an axe to grind. He treats his employees like crap. I was told they were a stable company with lots of work. When I started I found out I was replacing the guy who left after 1 month. The work hours are more than 40 hours a week. Sometimes depending on the Job assignment I was working double that to meet a deadline because they sell stuff they don't have. Then after a few jobs then there was nothing to do. E Mills is overbearing and is constantly on your back. He constantly is complaining about how Computer guys aren't as smart as Electrical Engineers. He belittles people. He constantly on the phone running his chocolate fountain business. Come on! The worst came when we worked our butt off for a project and then he changes everything at the last minute and told the IT staff to work on the weekend, which we did. Then we find out the customer cancelled the project the week before and he knew about it.
What a sick bastard. Then they delayed paying us our paycheck for 4 days because they had a cash flow problem. You know what, when I work hard I expect to get paid on time. This company was getting an extra 20 to 25 hours a week out of each IT guy which saved them from hiring another 3 people. Then they don't pay on time and this guy E Mills is a total a hole. To sum it up the company has no ethics, the managers are a holes. The work is sporadic and then when they do have work they work you to death instead of spreading it out. They lie about projects that they don't have. They can't manage projects. Then they don't pay on time. I have never got so upset at a job to where I got up out of my desk and walked out and never came back. I didn't even put this company down on my resume when I found another job. If you like working for free and being treated like crap then this place is for you. I hope this review helps because if it saves one person from the hell that I went through then some good will finally come out of this experience which totally sucked.
