pay: it was the reason i came to this job, i started at $9.50 but the raises that followed, well i got more than
most cause the management had a hard-on for me. (i think, so i was told) but still for what i do all day, i
expected more. and they should pay everyone better wages, how does a company expect there staff to
bust their balls for them when they don't even pay enough for a single person to support them-self. i mean
it only makes sense. if your employees have their shit handled, then they can focus on their job more.

respect: respect is really hard to get here, you have to be worth something to them, if your saving there ass
all the time, then yes there gonna be nice to you. the biggest issue is that if you find away to get some-
thing done better, or faster, there not interested, you can bang on office doors all day trying to get
someone to listen to an idea you have to fix a tool that no one will fix, or a transfer option that doesn't
really exist, but theres no answer. so frustrated, you do it anyways, it saves there asses, it relieves
stress & tension, it makes money for the client, and TP alike. and they take credit for the good and
blame the bad on you. and punish you for it. (and thats w/ anything, even the stuff they told you
to do.) there is no respect at TP, i could go on for quite some time about this but moving on...

benefits: LMFAO, yeah right, there is some but it's worthless and cost's a left testicle and your first born.

Job Security: there is job security to an extent, i have never worked in a place that you can be late by 2
hours at least twice a week and never get fired. theres a system you have to work in order
to not point out, but once you've mastered it, all you gotta worry about is your metrics.
which is easy. this job was the easiest job to keep.

Work/Life Balance: this is an oxymoron at TP, you play by the book or you get burned. even if your goin into
labor.

Career Potential/Growth: very limited, (unless you can suck a mean dick)

Location: haven of rest, 28 people killed within a block, within the last 5 years......

Co-worker Competence: most are ghetto as fuck, and ignorant, nasty, whores, i've never seen so many
sluts in one place. (and yes, that includes a whore house)
Work Environment: compared, this building is shit to the others. in general all disease & plague flowing
through the city uses TP as a grand central station. and the building looks like it hasn't
met code since the city owned it 7 years ago.

It is pretty bad when you hand in your two week notice, and they let you go the next day. We had no warning or anything. Said we'd be the first they letgo home if they were doing forced deviations. So we should just let them accept our resignations today. Said we'd be hired there again, but don't think that will happen. Just think it is pretty sad, they can do this to you. It is not our fault that hours were cut, and that so many people hate it there. Change what is going on. If your going to hire blind people, understand you've got to have tools that work, and not always excuses! The client we worked for reduces call time, and we've got tools that don't work yet expect us to meet the call times or even better than that, finish our calls less than the allotted time. It doesn't matter how hard you try, it's never good enough. You can bust your tail, and someone will still find something wrong with something you did. Most of the call center never spoke to us, but those who did were some pretty awesome people, so as far as our co-workers them selves went, you rock! We'll miss our co-workers, but definitely looking forward to the better pay, and better treatment from our future employer

My time with this company has been spent like my time in other companies...wasted...I have read all the comments posted on here, and WOW!!!!!!!!! I’m sorry that we all had to go through the things we have with this company...Where to even start, it is one of the unethical companies out there. When we opened all of management was called the good'odle boys club....and 98.5% of them were IDIOTS. Everything they did right from the very beginning was a scam....The sales person responsible for getting the client no longer works for Teleperformance, but is employed in the industry...In the center I worked in all you had to be was a fly on the right walls to find out all their dirty little secrets...and there were many...Now don’t get me wrong there were a lot of very intelligent people employed there; however they weren’t part of the good'odle boys club, hence useless....Now most of those people are trying to find new jobs and are still loyal to Teleperformance, but they are about to be unemployed. And the good'odle boys no longer work for Teleperformance, but are employed in the industry.....It goes even deeper involving political aspects, like certain buildings selling for $1 and $2, and being reappraised at over $700,000 today. It is just really sad that people who have/make money are so unethical; that they are willing to do what-ever they can to make a dollar. Teleperformance has a scam to make as much money, as cheap as they can, then screw their employees. But in Akron a group of their own employee's scammed them, and it seems like they don’t even care. It is just really sad that a company the size Teleperformance is managed as poorly as it is, they honestly to have the potential to truly be the world leader in Telecommunications. On their current path however in a couple more years, maybe even a decade we will see this company to, come to an end……….Thanks for wasting time in my life that I can never get back!!!!!!!!!!

I would have rated it good if i was presented with good. I rated -5 for most of the questions because that is what they deserved. Job Security? Heck no, you barely went over 4mins in a call they Freak out and send you home...Which i think is retarded. but hey, the benefits were close to nothing, and to top it off the pay wasn't even worth it for what the job actually was.

the pay is decent compared to other jobs in the area....except it doesnt add up to much when they send you home half way trhough your shift everyday...starting pay is $9 i got a FIVE CENT FUCKING raise after a whole year of hell...so now i make a whopping 9.05. a whole extra four dollars a month!

Respect is horrible. Assistant call center manager doesnt give a crap about his agents. Even though WE are the ones that bring in all the money...if it werent for us, there would be no one to take calls! id like to see mr. zelma take calls....he sits on his ass all day and doesnt get anything done...they pointed me for a no call no show that wasnt any fault of my own...zelma kept saying he would take it off...4 months later...it was still on there....i had to go above josh to mr. phillips and it was off the next day! Mr. darryl phillips is the only person who cares about the agents in that whole place. Superviors dont car about their agents either. They take their time with issues that agents have and sit on their computers all night and play online poker instead of getting shit done.

job security my ass...turn over rate is unbelieveable. We get random ass people who dont know jack shit about what they are doin walking right in from the street. Seriously. In the year that i have been there i have seen more idiots come and go out of that place...they come in accumulate 10+ points and they get fired, and its the same cycle over and over...they need a mroe selective screening process to get hired into this place...that would be thr first step in making that horrible place better....plus if the call vol. is low, they send you home, even if you are only a couple hours into your shift, they dont care about your life or rent or kids...they just send people home left and right...

work/life balance is alright, i dont have much to say about it...they are actually pretty flexible...SOME supervisors are willing to try and send you home early if you have an emergency or something, when i was frist hired, i got to choose my hours, so i liked that alot...

career/potential growth...well this one is ok too, you can go from agent to escalation agent (1.5) but they seem to always hire freaking morons for 1.5...there are only a select few that really know their shit...they acutally hired a WAHA 1.5 agent with ALZHEIMERS because shes a nice person....WOW really? i never call 1.5 for assistance anymore, they dont know jack shit (except for a select few, which have been there for some time for obvious reasons) But i guess its easy to get to be an escalation agent, you get a whole 25 cent raise and you get to listen to customers whine and bitch at you allll day long, oh and you can work your butt off checking work orders and doing call backs....yeah way too much work for a 25 cent raise...ill stick with my 5 cent raise!...

location....well i guess being located across from the haven of rest homless shelter isnt too bad, i see homeless people walking through our parking lot all the damn time...begging for money etc. i had one guy try and sell me pants on my break one time...other than that the location is ok, its downtown and only 1 block from the sky lounge so on a thurs fri or sat night, there are idiots walking around everywhere...in front of your cars in the middle of the street ect...yeah thats always fun. Its 2 min from akron U i guess thats a good ting if you live in a dorm or close to campus.

co worker competence....wow dont even get me started! I would say about 50% of the people who work there actually know how to do their job...they are forcing billing/video agents to cross train in HSI (high speed internet) i work in HSI...i know my job well...im tech savy and i know what im doing...i have heard some of these cross trained agents take calls and they have NO idea what they are talking about...i am speechless when i pick up on agents phone calls...it is insase...and plus some of the customer feedback i have gotten about certain agents...now i am the one apologizing and getting screamed at because YOU donnt know how to do your job...some agents dont know how to clear the cache....wow thats like basic right there...but i do feel bad because obviously the billing agents are in BILLING for a reason and not HSI...being forced to cross train was a bad idea...maybe they should get more through training...They hired a billing supervisor to be an HSI supervisor...what the hell?? i heard him ask another sup how to provision a modem...that is THE absolute first thing you should learn...and being a supervisor and not know that? But i had to give credit to the employees who do know waht they are doing, some are even over qualified for this job. i like them, those are the ones i get along with...i could go on forever but bottom line...some co-workers need uptraining like ASAP and so do the waha 1.5's (some) i have gotten bad advice from waha agents NUMEROUS times. i dont even bother anymore

Work environtment....HA! this is a joke...software never ever works, half the computers dont work...there was a point in time where we had to sign a waiting list becuse there were more agents than computers! glad that issue has been resolved...i have seen desks collapsing...phones breaking...the computers are disgusting...they do keep purell around though which is good because some people there have bad hygene! i had to move computers the other day because the guy sat down across from me and he smelled like onions! we got new chairs recently but they have no arm rests....that really is a pain in the ass. the whole place looks like crap...other teleperformances have gyms pools etc, (per my supervisor) maybe if the bldg didnt look like a shit hole people would do their job better...oh and we have a 90 year old sec. guard...what the hell is a 90 year old guy gonna do? well i ve run out of characters. i hope you decidde to work elsewhere, unless you like utter disrespect and low pay and shitty customers!

I worked a number of "Projects" for this company for about 3 and a half years. During my time as a Cust. Service Rep (for 3 different companies) We went from one foot to another, ducking and dodging new policies as they "came down" from corporate. Finally I found a golden opportunity to join the ranks of lower management. and took off running with it. That being said, Quit while you can. Management finds new, and inventive ways to screw your life up as much as humanly possible, how can we screw them with pay, benefits, job security, environment, morale.... all the meanwhile, upper management makes friends with people, and lets them slide with everything. William Tell.... Watch out.

Well lets start from the top, pay I do get pretty good pay but only because I was demoted from a higher posistion that made less money. There is no respect here, I think someone touched on the fact that you get in trouble for policies that are made after the fact. None but a handful of managers have respect for the fellow employees, we are treated like animals and I am not even going to mention the poor status of the bathroom. Benefits? The only thing that is worth menetioning is the 401 k and it is not even that great, they will not even match your contribution until 3 years or so of being in it and then it is only up to 3 percent. The health insurance SUCKS! There is no job security because of the morons they hire in as management, my "project" recently hired someone in as a training manager and she knows nothing about the project she came from another project. They make earning bonuses too difficult so only a handful have ever earned them.
