PPT dose not supply their technicians with A computer, proper working tools, service manuals, competent technical assistance, communications, training in any way shape kind color or form! The pay at about $17.00 Hr. is well below the national average of between $20.00 to $25.00Hr. for technical service Personnel. Technical ablility below average, if you can load and work a flashlight you get the job. If you have to use your own car and you will the mileage promised is $0.26 a mile. Far below the national average of between $0.35 to $0.45 a mile. If you receive one complaint from one customer you are out of your possition right then and there you have no chance of explaination or rebuttle. You are also expected to use your free time to fillout paper work! If there is some little training matirials avalible again you are expected to do this on your time never company time!

In Short:
1. Pay: Far below national average
2. Mileage: Extreemly below national average
3. Training: Non-existant
4. Technical expertise: Very Limited
5. Tools: Not Supplied (use your own)
6. Tech Manuals: Avalible on line only (Lap Top Not Supplied)
7. Communications: Not supplied (Use your own cell phone)
8. Re-embursment: Always very late if at all

So only apply to work for this company if you are willing to do some serious kissing ass to get promoted. Its been proven that if you get hired on as a Project Manager, you can get promoted to Program Manager and brag about getting a raise in 2 months IF you kiss ass and get everyone else to do your work for you and turn it in as your own. You will also not be held to the same standard as everyone else when it comes to actually being at work. You can also freely be mean sprited to others by threatening to tell Cliff everything if you don`t get your way and throw Cliffs name around to try and get what you want. Yes, the company will promote those who dont deserve it and give them raises while the ones who took a pay cut and never got it back start to hone their resumes to get out if this hellhole. Cliff obviously has no problem with openly placing the last straw on the camals back. Every true employee in Fairburn is angry about his latest move, though they would never be allowed to voice it. Do not work at this company unless you want to be abused.

If Cliff King would spend just 1 month at the company he owns,at least a quarter of the employees would get fired. Instead of laying off those who were truly sucking the companies finances and not earning their pay, he layed off the ones who were working hard. Perhaps he doesn`t care where his company is going. If he did, he would be there.

OMG: 08/22/09 My business partner and I just finished working our butts of on a job in CA. Several months ago, he worked two previous jobs by himself that PPT has yet to pay him on. I thought the incredibly high rate offered by PPT seemed to good to be true. Alas, its doubtful that PPT will pay on any of the jobs after I just saw the extensive collection of complaints against the company for non-payment of services. Sadly, I learned to late that PPT stopped paying its bills last winter.

Pay is 0,,,In the beginning when he started the company he paid people more than what they were worth, a lot of them had no experience for what he was paying them. Then when he gets people who are competent and worth the pay, he doesn't want to pay them because he over estended them early on. How the heck do you pay a receptionist $18 hour who doesn't know how to handle an irate caller?? He hires hourly workers on a saleried basis when they don't qualify as salaried so that he doesn't have to pay them overtime wages. The only people making big money are the ones licking his brown crap off their noses & reporting to Cliff what other employees say about him. Respect: Absolutely none unless you are letting him do you royally, he demands respect but doesn't give any. The fact that the conference room has a huge painting of General Patton tells you his persona. Run your civilian company like the army, take orders and carry them out at all cost and never question your leader. Co-worker competence: When you have people running a company that don't know what they are doing in every department and when a company hires a young inexperiened HR Rep who doesn't know the law and only protects the CEO/owner and allows him to break the law, what do you expect. Work environment is hostile if you don't fall in like a good little soldier and follow orders like robots, no matter how unethical it is...lie to co-workers, lie to contracted tech people and backstabbing two faced people all the way to the top including Cliff King the CEO. If you go to HR, like big brother, they are instructed to report to Cliff King anything you say when you go in there, so there is no protection if you have complaints. Bi-polar unstable people having emotional breakdowns, uncontrollable bursts of anger and hostility toward co-workers is tolerated as long as that bi-polar unstable worker is reporting everything to Cliff. Work-life balance is 0... you are required to be available to Cliff King's beck and call even when you are on vacation, even home in bed no matter what hour he calls, you must be ready to work. There is no regard for your off days, time with family or picking up your children, you must work late without objection even if your asked to do so 30 minutes before you are to get off work,, again without being paid for it. Career potential/growth- only if you are Cliff's Biotch or letting him grope you, you must make him your God in order to make it in his company. Job security is none, the company is financially, structurally and organizationally unsound and unstable. Cliff's vision is only for self and will crush you in the company without warning if you don't obey. He is stubborn and 1 sighted and prideful, don't dare defy him. So as he goes, so does the company go. You can't grow if you don't change. Can he be nice, oh sometimes, but again, you must be in his pocket, he will pay bills for you and give you money, but it come with the price of absolute loyalty to him no matter how unethical it is.....That is the absolute honest truth. He has been good to some people, but he is the devil and you must sell your soul to him for him to do it.

ALL I have to say is this company is filled with nothing but liars and scams. I am a consultant, have performed work for this company for over 2 years and they are horrible when it comes down to paying their outside technicians. It's been over a year and a half and I still CANT collect money they owe me. Everyone dumps their crap on someone else and no one wants to take charge nor blame for their mistakes. If they can't pay consultants and techs, how are they supposed to pay their employees when WE bring in the money for them? I honestly would never work for them. I would never get paid.

Pay: Above average for the industry norm. Sadly, most people don't really know what the industry norm is - they just know they want more.

Respect: Very high, IMO. In my time here I have encountered nothing but respect towards both myself and my family from all levels.

Benefits: Above average for the industry norm.

Job Security: Look at the posts below. It should be indicative of the only individuals who should fear for their jobs - racist bigots and people with poor grammar and communication skills (it is a help desk, after all)

Work/Life Balance: Incredible.

Growth Potential: It's there, and pretty good considering the overall size of the company.

Location: I love it. Close to plenty of places to eat, and the CEO actually measured it from the homes of all employees before selecting it.

Co-Worker Competence: Much higher since the people who posted below are no longer at PPT.

Work Enviroment: Very, very nice.

What anyone say about Cliff King's little follie. One of the previous posters said he a tyrant which is so true along with his half breed son Byron running the show. The Gay/Lesbian connection there is about the same and I truely believe the Help Desk Manager has alot of sugar in his tank. I wouldn't be surprised that he has the hots for the printer expert there. The Human Resources manager "CJ" Jackson is a big joke. Half the time she dosen't know what she's doing and is stuck in a mirror worried about her looks most of the time. The Project managers are no more than Storm Troopers doing the King family's bidding. This is truely a sorry company to work for. A little free advise to anyone looking for any job...is never work for a company that does not have a listing on the stock exchange. These managers and CEO's have to account for their actions to stock holders.

My experience with PPT was pretty much the same as the others who have posted on here and other sites have stated. The company is run by people who have no idea what is really going on in the helpdesk area. They want teamwork but some compete against each other to see who can get who in trouble the most. They tell the manager as soon as they find the slightest mistake that you have made. There are definite clicks of people that work there and if you don`t fit in to the click, you will get talked about and they will constantly try to stab you in the back. These same clicks talk about the managers and people they don`t like behind their backs and kiss their ass to their face. There is one guy who works there who claims he is an expert printer tech and he has a saying about everybody he talks to on the phone who is asking for his help, it is "that guys a f***king idiot" There is no chance for carerr advancement unless you fit in to the click there and you will more than likely get fired because one of the expert techs on the helpdesk constantly complains about how bad you are while others are allowed to come in late and call in sick all the time without getting into trouble. There is a huge double standrad there. Oh and there is no training when you start. You are just expected to know all of the contracts and there are lots of them. Unless you are one of the click who gets your own contract and then you can just sit around and act important and complain that everyone else but you does their job. Yea. Do not work for this company.

This is probably the most disfunctional company I have ever seen. The problem starts at the top with Cliff King the CEO. He is a X-Military tyrant who ego is bigger than anyone else on earth. Never work for these clowns you would regret it
