The management and HR are all dumb people. No pay increases. Sweat shop be-warned.

Equus is a company that once had great potential with the prior owners in tact, now with the sale of the company and new owners, the company has taken a downturn for the worst. I expect to see that the company went out of business, they have a very poor human resources department who does not listen to the employees when a conflict arises. I respect protecting the company but not at the risk of company reputation and morals and values. They pride themselves in being employee owned which means do more than go get paid to do and give them your knowledge and they in return will take it as their own idea, and put you down for even having the potential of coming up with anything. The salary is poor, the resources are in need of an overhaul, they have listening devices through out the company and play you on what you say, they rule with an iron fist, and they have a poor quality outlook and rip off the customer by putting know defective product into the completed system and selling it to the customer for a fee, with the attitude that they will get the customer to purchase a service contract to keep that product working. They frequently put defective product into known systems and sell that to the consumer especially with NB.

While Equus tends to pay very good salaries, this fact is mitigated by the complete lack of respect and consideration from management. The constant feeling of condescension is intolerable. The company is extremely secretive, shady, and downright superstitious, and this is reflected in the sharp downturn it has taken in recent times. Its offshore "business dealings" and tax havens are questionable at best, and I continually expect to see a news story about corporate corruption involving Equus. It's unfortunate, because there are some very good employees. But the structure of the company is decayed to the extent that if only three or four hard-working people who are still holding it up left, the company would implode on itself.

Equus is not an honest company, they will lie right to your face. When working thru a temporary service, Managers will tell you that you have a future with the company, and months later let you go with no notice.

There lames, from the Executives on down. The product is a joke because of the so called wholesale price which is higher then most end user prices before the middleman tacks on his margin. I earned new accounts, and there bad product and service blew the accounts. My former boss actually told me that I was better off telling the customer to go to Dell because the laptops I sold were only the entry level. They don't advertise and have high prices trying to compete with Dell. They do their customers a disservice, since they would be better off buying hardware else where. I can't belive they even have that many customers. When I signed someone up I always felt like I was ripping them off. I wasted a year with them, they will be out of business sooner or later. There not worth working for or doing business with. Glad I don't work for these low lifes anymore.
