What are the rules? |
No company deserves -5 in every category. Think hard about the ratings you're giving. A score of mostly -5s is likely to be removed.
You must enter enough comments to adequately justify your ratings.
Don't use profanity.
DO NOT WRITE IN ALL CAPS.
Specify the real location where you work, in "City, State" format. Responses such as "anywhere" or "every office" will be removed
Do not personally attack anyone, or mention anyone by name or initials.
Do not rate a company more than once (if we see a trend across reviews they will be removed)
Do not use JobVent.com reviews or comments as places to advertise your product, service, union, or anything else. If you'd like to advertise on JobVent.com, we have options for you. Contact Venter@JobVent.com for more information.
Any violation of the above rules is grounds for the removal of a review from JobVent.com. |

Can I get a review removed? |
| It depends. If a review violates any of the rules we've outlined above, we'd like you to bring the review to our attention by emailing us (Venter@JobVent.com). |

Do you edit reviews? |
| No. The only editorial function reserved by JobVent.com is "Delete". If we see something we don't like, the entire review (And its comments) gets removed.

Why are you doing this? |
| While working at a certain company, I became very frustrated that there was no good place for me to vent about my job online. I looked around and did not find a centralized place for people to organize their thoughts about specific employers. I started this site, as a resource for people who are interviewing for new jobs, or people who just need to blow off some steam about their current situation. Hopefully some companies will get positive ratings |

Won't you get sued? |
We don't think so. What is important to remember is the things posted on this site are the opinions of those people who posted them. No employer reviews or comments are written by anyone associated with JobVent.com or Arlington Development, LLC. The only editorial function utilized by JobVent.com administrators is "DELETE" when someone points out a review that is inappropriate or a review that violates our rules.

How do the company rankings work? |
| Points, for any given company, are cumulative. So if a company has 2 reviews, and both reviews assign -10 to the company, then the company now has -20 points. Easy. |
