I have never heard of another work environment like this one, let alone worked at one myself. There is absolutely no order or sanity to what's going on. No stability or product planning of any kind. Your work priorities and expected deliverables might change 2-3 times daily. Everything is expected to be completed the same or the next day even if it is two weeks worth of work. The expectations from management are totally unreasonable. If you push back you are told to take a hike. You simply will not have the opportunity to do your job well.

Senior management will often verbally abuse or yell at employees for not meeting outrageous or non-existent expectations. As hard as it is to believe, cursing and throwing of physical objects by management is not a rare occurrence. On top of that, contractors almost never get paid and salaried folks have had difficulty getting paid on time or at all, usually when they leave. You can't be two minutes late in the morning without them threatening to fire you but they will keep you extra at night for hours without any overtime or time off in return.

As others have mentioned, do a bit of research on the folks "running" the company and you will see that these are not people you want to be in business with. My short stay there was a hard lesson learned.

My daughter worked for this company and tried very hard to please the two at the top. All the comments that others made are so true. This company probably would have been a great place to work if those who were running it had any respect for their employees, the ones who were doing all the work. If the company owners don't get some sense about how to treat people, they will end up like they did with their previous companies - with nothing heading for bankruptcy.

Isn't even a company. No structure and you answer to criminals. Lovely, right? I've never, in all my days of working in technology, been subjected to such a poor work environment. Forcing you to stay late (yeah, i said force), bipolar yelling, and neglecting payments are just a few of the gems you'll be be subjected to at this place. Hey, if that's your cup of tea, then you're probably as fucking stupid as they are and I wish you a happy marriage. But for those without any brain defects and harbor competency, this place is not for you. The only positive thing I can say about this company is the working people, the hired labor, we're diligent and amazing to work with (aside from maybe the IT department who loves them some Fugu). If not for them, sanity would be lost. Lastly, I can't think of any past employee who would write a decent review of this place. That leads me to believe it's either owners (who demands employees to give their app 5 stars in App Store) or hired (yet probably unpaid) help.

They reeled me in with a promise of a great salary. And then they stopped paying it. This company is flat broke and still expects you to come in and work! And not only that, they expect you to work overtime and weekends with no additional compensation because 'they're paying you well enough.' The lack of respect by upper management of the employees' time and skill set is ridiculous. During the time I was there I can recall at least 4 instances in which we were told 'No one can go home until [the project we gave you at 4p] is done." And these were not easy projects to bang out in an hour! The lack of planning and respect for amazing talent will run this company straight into the ground. Though I'm no longer surprised given the management team that's running it. Google a few of there names and you'll get a sense for the type of scam this company's running...

Refused to pay overtime, but demanded it on a continued basis. No respect whatsoever for personal time or the human condition. No HR department. Consistent verbal abuse and unreasonable deadlines. Not willing to listen to complaints surrounding work environment. After firing multiple employees for bringing up issues, have refused to pay employees or contractors, completely ignoring their pleas. Conflicting claims that they have no money, but are securing multi-million dollar financing deals. A complete nightmare of an experience.

I agree with all of the complaints. A miserable company. Any positive reviews probably come from stock holders. In addition to not paying employees, don't forget about their failure to pay for health insurance. This place churns over talent like you wouldn't believe. If you're considering working there, ask around and see who has been there longer than 6 months (other than management). I'd also ask for a severance package, though they wouldn't pay it anyway!

It is quite obvious by the writing style and the closeness of the dates, as well as consistent references to the companies founder that the negative reviews were all written by the same person who likely has a grudge against this companies founder. I have not worked here so my score will be neutral. I have however turned in my resume to the company and if employed will update this site to reflect the working conditions.

They say they don't have the funds to pay their employees yet you see them cruising around on the streets of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood in cars more expensive than my house.

Very shady company.

They have moved from New York to San Francisco to LA... I wonder why. Stay away from these crooks.

I worked for the same management in NY when it was Media Power. All I can say is all the above comments are 100% true. They pulled the same shit with us. Actually I didnt even receive our last paychecks for the last month I was there. Do not work for this company, trust me

Do not believe any of the positive reviews! I guarantee you they were written by the execs. This place is hell on earth. They paychecks for employees are rarely ever on time. Sometimes delayed by weeks. Don't get me started on contractors... they hardly ever get paid. Employees are under constant verbal abuse and the slightest bit of opinion will get you fired. Please avoid working for these bipolar scam artists. Do a bit of research on the CEO and you'll see what I mean.
