IQPC - wow; where to start?
Having had the misfortune to encounter the consistent ineptitude at every level of this organization I would simply say to any potential staffer;
If you have a single shred of self-respect, a sense of self-worth or have anything to more to offer than blind, mindless and ignorant obedience to an ill-conceived and poorly executed doctrine - do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Pay - There are much better paid roles in "conferencing".
Respect - Respect is both a word and concept that the management of IQPC work to destroy; this comes from the very top, permeating the whole company and is so entrenched that even good managers end up as tools to abuse their staff.
Benefits - Benefits cost money and money spent on staff welfare is not money going into the company coffers; don't hold your breath.
Job security - It seems that IPQC management take great pleasure is removing staff, lie about support and are probably so worried about their roles that they work to keep everyone looking over their shoulders.
Work/Life balance - If the brainwashing sticks then there is no such thing as balance; if the brainwashing doesn't stick you won't be around long enough to worry about finding the elusive concept.
Career Potential/Growth - Go somewhere else if you want to retain your humanity and personality and be successful.
Location - IQPC is everywhere you'd expect; nothing special there. Just like rats or cockroaches.
Co-worker competence - There are some great staff at IQPC, unfortunately the company corrupts even the best; you either stay and become a drone or escape.
Work environment - Innovation is frowned upon, respect is a dirty word and honor is an alien concept at IPQC.
To all readers of this review; please, please, please help yourselves and avoid this abhorrent company at all costs - to work there is to hate yourself, to be despised by your industry and hated by your customers - there are good opportunities in the business to business events industry; just be a little more discerning in your selection.
Worrying from a current employee eh?
