I have been with Muckel Anderson for 6 years now and it has been an amazing experience! I consider my co-workers my friends which make this job the most enjoyable. The partners and managers really do care for their employees and take interest in their well being, professionally and personally. Our clients are wonderful to work with and I always look forward to seeing them. Compared to other public accounting firms, Muckel is by far the most flexible with schedules and have successfully divvyed up the work so we don't work god awful hours like other firms do. I could not imagine myself working for another public firm in Reno. I am very thankful to work at Muckel and what they have given me.

I had worked at Muckel Anderson CPAs for over two years. I loved my job, my co-workers and partners. When I compared my work load with other accountants, I was pleasantly surprised, how much flexibility Muckel Anderson CPAs provided to all of us. I think this firm is an amazing place to work. It has great opportunites for advancement, very flexible with employees and works really hard on work and life balance. I always felt that partners respect me, my ideas and my challenges.
Muckel Anderson was very flexible in my case. I had some family events that needed an adjustment to my work schedule. I was not a close friend with any of the partners or top managers, but nonetheless they still provided all the flexibility that I needed at that time. I had to leave this firm due to my family circumstances, but I still think it was one of the best places I ever worked.

I have worked for Muckel for over 3 years, and every year gets worse. The partners ignore your questions and ideas, the staff have their cliques and if you don't fit in the clique forget enjoying the people you work with. Everyone is underappreciated and undervalued. When you are the best employee anyone can ask for, they don't notice. The benefits are nice, but I insist that they must do that in order to cover up how horrible it is to sit there every day and work LONG hours, for low pay, so that the partners can play golf and run marathons. Honestly, what firm can opperate consistantly with SOP's that aren't followed, a mostly part-time, unreliable admin staff, and partners that enjoy the benefits of your hard labor without doing much work themselves? The partners also don't realize what good employees they have, and that the only reason most of us stay here is because the economy is too harsh to find something else.

If you are offered a job here, don't take it. They make it look shiny and wonderful, when really all you are going to do is become stressed and feel under appreciated, while not getting paid enough for continuing to be a wonderful employee. It is REALLY not worth it.

I have worked in several accounting firms (large and mid-sized) and believe Muckel Anderson CPAs is the overall BEST when it comes to providing the clients and employees 100%. There is a pride within the firm that Muckel Anderson CPAs belongs to everyone within the firm. New ideas are always encouraged and the partners openly recognize those who are trying to better themselves professionally. Everyone works hard during business hours, but there are also many outside activities that are planned that brings everyone together --- more of a family atmosphere.

Muckel Anderson CPAs is the most advanced firm when it comes to professional training and technology --- even more advanced than a large international firm. I am proud to say I work at Muckel Anderson CPAs because of the integrity, professionalism and knowledge I have seen within this firm. I would highly recommend our accounting, tax and financial services because of the specialized training and personal attention given by our firm.

I feel like Muckel Anderson is my family. From the partners to the clients, you won't find another firm out there like it! If you don't already know, public accounting is hardly a walk in the park. The Muckel family makes accounting as fun as it can be. At the same time, it's a great place to grow as a young professional and gain the experience and the respect that comes with being a certified public accountant.

I have been at Muckel Anderson for over six years. In my experience at other work environments, Muckel tops them all. I have worked for global corporations, medium size firms, and sole proprietorships and Muckel outshines them all. Yes there are times when it can be frustrating - but the positive far outweighs the negative. I am so thankful to be working here and for all of the opportunities afforded me in my tenure. The partners believe in me, trust me, and respect me and I value that and appreciate that. I love my job - even during tax season and other busy times. I know what it is like to work for bad employers (no respect, bad pay, made to feel worthless and unappreciated) and that is just not part of Muckel Anderson. This is the best damn accounting firm in the land - that is what I tell people when they ask me where I work!!!

The firm is defiantly a family environment and value your work life balance. They realize that we are all professionals and we all know what work has to get done. I know they do their best to hire people that are the right "fit". This is not your typical accounting firm, which is why I say the right "fit". If you are the right "fit" the firm is an awesome place to work! People that work at the firm are highly self motivated and very competent. It is extremely nice to work with people you actually like!

I have been part of the team at Muckel Anderson CPAs for 5 years and I honestly feel it is the best firm to work for in Reno. All of the partners are approachable and I enjoy working with a group of people who I consider to be my friends.

Great place to work, very flexible. Great bosses who care about you. Work life balance is very strong. Training has improved tremendously.
