best job you will ever hate until you quit

This isnt a job, its volunteer work ...WTF????

i had to check your company out, the shit hole i work for used to be top of the hate list until you guys moved to the top of the list....i gotta ask do yous get paid monthly, weekly or bi-weekly???? i have to say after the first time the check wasnt there i wouldnt be there the next day.....at least unemployment pays you on time.

Not paying to employees from last 2-3 months

This company not only does it suck its HORRIBLE! Late checks and i mean as late as there can be! Seems as this company only the managers care is about them selves and not the employees

We (my wife and I) are reading the posts here by other Orb Employees/Ex-Orb Employees and admit that what has been posted here to be nothing short of accurate.

Work Environment: I often found myself working in hostile and unsanitary environments
Co-Worker Competence: Often worked with others who were clueless as to their own rights
Location: Some locations were easily accessable, but what do you do when they want you to work allmost 100KM from home?
Career Potential/Growth: Sure
Job Security: Acertain your rights, you'll get fired
Benefits: No benefits to speak of
Respect: See job security
Pay: $9.00 an hour

Do yourself a favour. Lots of Security work out there so avoid working for Orb.

Pay, respect, benefits, job security all a 5 because the owners are nasty to employee's that had enough of the bounce cheques or late chegues so they quit. Work/Life Balance, i know a guy who have been working 12 hours a day every day for the past 36 days at one site in Hamilton and the guy lives all the way in Oakville. I dont see that as a balance at all. Career potential/growth. Its clear that this company is going down. Now although the location was great for me, its was a 15 minute drive from my place to the site and my co-workers where great as well as the environment i still say that this company needs to close and the owners be charged, sued and thrown in jail. This company is way worst then any other company i have ever worked for and i hope the last worst one i ever work for.

I worked for ORB Security in Windsor they are fairly new in this city and none of us knew this site existed, wish we did now, we suffered multiple bounced paycheques, pay is always late a day or two if not more, we were lied to reqularly by our district manager, the operations guy was fair and honest. I am many of my co-workers got screwed more times than I can count, the pay is below average if it doesn't bounce or get there days late, respect the district manager and owner don't even know the meaning of the word but the operations gave it if he got it, there are non you get paid late, if the cheque clears, if you refuse a call in shift your hours get cut,refuse enough call ins or don't answer your phone for a call in fired, I have seen it happen, job security have you been reading this. work life balance well if you aren't at their beckon call 24/7 you get your hours cut, career potential I think we can tell with the bounced cheques and labor board investigations in toronto and windsor where this company is headed, location like the one gentleman said it varys by the job site its a un controlled aspect of the business, co worker competence normal hard workin people trying to earn a cheque some have pretty good experience but still get crapped on by the company daily, work environment depends on the site.

Do not work for this company, I would not wish this company on my worst enemy, if you know someone who is supposed to go for a interview tell them to run and not look back
