I currently work for a place for mom, but I recently gave my notice. I had a lot of heart and soul in this company, but recently learned I am disposable. I have seen strong people come and go quickly. This company has potential, but they need to value their employees. Everyone is disposable. They will never grow to their potential if they continue to devalue their employees. There is so much negativity in this sales organization. It truely is disheartening to put your heart into something and to realize that you are not valued. I am usually a very positive person, but you can only be devalued so many times. In the last 3 monthes 3/4 of our team has left or been fired. A Place for mom sets sales goals that are unattainable. They have very few long term advisors. Look around, there is so much out there to deter you from wanting to work for this company. Make sure your decision is well thought out and educated.

I know what you mean I was one of those disposable advisors. After two years of hard work, long hours, working weekends, and missed time with my family. For all of it to end. The goals are too high and if you fail for three months in a row you will be fired. Of course this rule doesn't apply to new advisors just the ones who have given up everything for the company.
