BEWARE OF Allstate Merchant Services!!!The going rate for credit card processing is 1.28%, so 1.75% is a rip-off. They sign you on and RAPE your company, so you have to take a cash advance at 35 to 60% interest. If you want a career as a SLAVE this is the place for you. You are required to work 44 hours a week (two required late nights) but you will be paid for 10-20 because you only get paid when you speak to someone and NO ONE WANTS TO TALK TO YOU!!!!! They tell you that the calls are inbound from people who have requested more information but you are COLD CALLING everyone. They really want you to work straight commission but they only pay $40 for the first 1-10; $50 for 11-20; $60 21+. They don't tell you that you are lucky if you get 6 for the whole week because your statements will start to disappear the closer you come to earning anything over $250 per week. You are working overtime for LESS THAN minimum wage. It's suppose to be 1099 but if they dictate the time when you are supposed to work, where, how many hours and offer $12 base pay(LIE!LIE!LIE!LIE!LIE!), they are an employer!!! THAT'S THE LAW. You know how you get 6 statements or more? You just grab the 'promises' from the co-worker who ran away from this scam! But that's hard,too, because they want you to file your PROMISES in the office. This way they can 'disappear' before you get back to the office. "I don't have it." "You never gave it to me." "You must have brought it home." "You need to get organized." BLAH!BLAH!BLAH! If you want to feel like filthy trash, start your servant career here. These people are just a step above slave traffickers and loan sharks. MONEY RAPERS!!! Predictive dialer means that the business has hung-up on you 10 times in 15 minutes and you can PREDICT the owner is going to report you to the Feds! These people are professional thieves! They are VAMPIRES sucking money and livelihood from everyone! Guard your money and your life from these people!!!BEWARE & BE VERY MUCH AFRAID!!! Job Security-None. You must be there at 8:45 a.m. to get a seat and attend the required meeting or get sent home but you don't start working until 9:45 am-that hour is unpaid. Work/Balance: You don't earn a decent wage and you can't take an evening job. Your bills pile up real fast. Career Potential- You can be an acct executive if you last but you see them out on the floor begging for the statements. No dignity. Location- Financial District- Beautiful. Co-worker competence: Who can tell? No one can stay here. Work Environment- Like farm day labor in the South.
