Well, the sir that posted below is obviously a brown noser, probably management, had no ambition in life, and that's why he's had a good experience wasting 25 years of his life for a company that he is disposable to. I am all for being optimistic, but seriously all the people I work with are stuck in their job because it does pay decent enough so you can barely support house, boat, car, credit card, and other luxury bills that constitute the American dream, yet you will work too much overtime to even enjoy these luxuries. It's a good job to have to support a wife that will probably cheat on you because you spend all your time fulfilling your "work duties." The people in charge realize the desperation people face in todays financial society and will work employees exhorborant amounts of overtime, to the point where people are fatigued and dangerous on equipment. They will then laugh about it to your face. Any complaints, despite new posters and programs to institute communication, are met with responses about applying at McDonalds if you don't like something. You can plan nothing, day or night, weekday or weekend unless you've worked there at least 10 years because you will be working mandatory overtime, which they won't inform you of until the day before your weekend. Scheduling Vacation time is a joke unless you've worked there at least a decade because all the full weeks are always taken by higher seniority. You can work your ass off during a shift, and watch decrepit high seniority guys go home. There is no respect except between co-workers, and you have to be proven a good worker and on the same shift. People are personable and friendly to each other, and helpful for the most part although it is easy to lose sight because of management causing stress with ridiculous expectations.
