Not a bad place to work. I've done worse for less.

Reader, you will find that this ringing endorsement is much more representative of the opinions of the typical Progressive worker.

Don't you find a similarity with progressive and the Disney Channels? When age sets in everyone is thrown in the garbage like Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Britneys sister and any kid star that gets old. Age is the gremlin of the business so don't get old.

We love this post. "Together we can fix this. I am a union organizer for Local 2 OPEIU in Washington DC. In the past 5 years our Local organized Kaiser Permanente pharmacists, otometrists, opticians, customer services and others. Over 500 people in these occupations are now union members with good pay, good benefits, good working conditions and most important: respect. Kaiser is the largest insurance company in the Mid Atlantic(Maryland, Virginia, DC). I'm fired up, are you? Go to this website for starters: http://www.opeiu-local2.org/Organizing.html" Call 301-608-9705

Norma could you go back to your Traveler bullshit company and shut the fuck up. No one cares about your shitty union babble. Unions are dead anyway. And while you are at it, take that moron Progger with you.

How big was your raise or gainshare this year? http://xml.10kwizard.com/filing_raw.php?repo=tenk&ipage=6698396 I'll bet it wasn't $117,712.28...

ModernDayWidow (WRITES THE FOLLOWING)— Jan. 17, 2010Norma could you go back to your Traveler bullshit company and shut the fuck up. No one cares about your shitty union babble. Unions are dead anyway. And while you are at it, take that moron Progger with you. ====================================================================================Speak for yourself ModernDayWidow. It might be cathartic to come here and vent, and maybe scare off some naive kids fresh out of college- but let's face it; Jobvent's usefulness is pretty limited. Finally somebody has some ideas about what to do and you try to shoot them down. What's your point? I suspect NormaRae is thinking not just of unions. There are other options, e.g. professional associations. The idea is to provide some organization and direction to give employees a voice. If you choose to come here and bitch and moan fine. But when somebody tries to do something and you don't like it, get the hell out of the way. I think you should send a comment to Progger.. you two just might have something in common - maintaining the status quo. Could be the beginning of something big. I can see it now : "Dear Reader - I have found the love of my life - ModernDayWidow- she's coming over to my apartment, we're gonna write crap on jobvent - and spend some hot times popping each other's zits !! As that fine commercial super star Flo would say "how kewl is that" ??? LMAO.

I could say a lot of mean things to you 1exprog but I wont. I have nothing against you. ---------------------- Progressive's 401k plan is tier 3 junk. Not competitive and limited funds. You can check out rankings at several sites such as BrightScope etc... Prog crows that they match 6% what they fail to tell you is that they got the extra 3% by cancelling the SDRP match so the sum of the parts is the same. Smoke and mirrors to pretend there is more thatn there really is.
SuperProgger — Jan. 21, 2010
I whole-heartedly agree with ModerDayWidow - unions are dead, and have no place in our fine organization. I think that she will go far here.

The earthworms who won't stand up for themselves deserve to die as serfs and nobody will care. Maybe the insurance business is the right place for you people after all.
