I've been at Taco Bell for 9 years....as an Assistant. There is absolutely no room for growth past an Assistant unless (God forbid) someone dies. Balance...that's a joke. The other Assistants in the store are f-ing idiots so almost everything comes home with me, from the schedules to uniforms. My GM is cool like him a lot, but he refuses to see that the other managers don't do anything. Benefits are good. Pretty happy there. We don't get what the Corporate stores get, but I'm still pleased. 401K will make it better.
I try to create a good work environment....it can't happen while the other manager's aren't doing their job. I recently had a team member say that if your female and cute....all you gotta do is shake your ass to get your way. OOOHHH...way not cool. How can you create a positive work envirnment with that attitude? Honestly thinking about quitting. Just giving up. Love my job at the bell....Hate the things that happen there.
